Used an image for reference: [link] Took me several hours to complete. Totally done in Photoshop CS2 with my tablet. Ive been watching the show and was inspiired -- I'm in the second season. I wanted to draw Starbuck, but I can't find any good references of her online. She takes shitty pictures.
This is amazing. I was wondering if you would be willing and had the time to share some of your photoshop brush settings. I'm trying to set mine up so they look like pencil lead, like you have achieved here. Any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

I really just used the smudge tool a lot. And I tended to use the brush that's in between the semi-soft brushes and the soft brushes in the default brush panel in CS4 - I think there is only one, and it should be size 19. It has opacity changes at the ends...if you can find the one I'm talking about.
